Herve and Paula Tabourel
We opened Cardo Restaurant in 2006 as Pig’Halle Restaurant. Our core values of running a local restaurant means using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our meat is supplied by award winning butcher Henderson’s of Glenrothes and our fish and seafood is supplied by George Campbell & Sons in Perth. Cardo Restaurant is a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant, using influence and inspiration from Paula’s Portuguese and Herve’s French backgrounds.

The new interior was designed by Michael Dix of Dix Designs. Much of the furniture was sourced in the Far East. The pendulant lamps, with their gorgeous pattination, are from a Japanese trawler, rescued by Michael from a junk yard. The thistle themed artworks cvering the walls are also by Michael.

Cardo are famous for our Pizzas!

All our Pizza Dough is baked fresh daily by our Pizza Chef, on our premises, in our Wood Fired oven. We are very proud of our Pizzas and know you will love them!
